Control Oil Filter Element

They make sure to purify contaminated oil before it creates any unwanted damage to the fluid system.
Types of Control Oil Filters
- Absolute Rating Filters
These filters are applicable when micro dirt is present in the turbine system. To achieve absolute filtration efficiency micron glass fiber media is being used. These glass fiber media come in beta rating of 200 or 1000. A higher beta rating ensures the optimum performance of the filter elements.
- Nominal Rating Filters
These filters are used to remove macro size pollutants in the system. Mostly synthetic cellulose, which is also called oil paper is used widely to capture such pollutants. These paper media come in beta ratings of 2 to 50, depending on the requirement. Stainless steel wire mesh media is also used in nominal rating filters. These filters are applicable when reusability is the prime focused aspect in filtering applications.
